Saber Riders is a cartoon based on the story of three crusaders fighting criminal activity in a western realm. But no, they are not riding horses. They drive high tech cars, and have sabers and laser guns as their weapon. 

I don't know much about this cartoon, but it didn't go a long time on the network before I lost Sky-Channel, and a bit later: Super Channel. But what I do know is that this cartoon wasn't much to brag about. Some very hefty action sequences, heavy animated and yes, it all looks great. But it lacks the depth of many other cartoons.
