This cartoon, is made by the same people who brought you Starzinger, but this time the script is a little more down to Earth. It's about a girl named Candy Candy in an orphenage after being left alltogether by her real parents. 

We follow the girl from baby, to a mature teen. The series is as beautiful, as it is sad, and it must be said, that it sometimes can get quite tragic. Although the cartoon can be seen by people of all ages, the topics in the stories provided in the cartoon are far more complex than one might imagine a cartoon could provide: 
Death, deception, jealousy, love, hate, deceit, and other dramas are all provided. There is a lot to learn from this cartoon, and it acts a lot like a soap, with music, pathos and acting that needs no actors.
