Jace and the wheel worriors is probably the series which has the most plants, at least on the evil side. The overmind is determined to fill the universe with vines, and weeds. But Jace and the wheelers come to the rescue in their own ship that looks like a boat of some sort. 

On the good side the cartoon portrays the characters as somewhat different, but there is almost never any conflict between them, which leaves for not much else than your old good vs. evil formula. The episodes are many, and I can't recall seeing all of them. I did see about over 100 episodes of the series. 

Not much else to say. A cartoon which in it's place holds a place in everybody's heart as being good an stand out entertainment. But no, this is no classic.
